Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related engineering field focused on electrical engineering and electronics
- At least 1 year of experience in electronic hardware or software development (including academic work, internships, or traditional professional roles)
- A minimum of 1 year of programming experience with Python, MATLAB, or Embedded C/C++
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain custom testing solutions for flight hardware, including in-house electronics, optics, RF antennas, modulators, and electromechanical hardware
- Select commercial off-the-shelf hardware or design custom PCBAs for signal measurement, applying flight-like loads, and powering units under trial
- Create automation software in Python to interact with test units, testing equipment, instrumentation, and production documentation systems
- Collaborate closely with design engineers, manufacturing teams, and test laboratories, providing feedback to enhance design and infrastructure for improved product reliability and yield
- Investigate test anomalies and failures during various testing and development phases to ensure issues are resolved and mitigations are implemented
