Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or physics
- Minimum of 1 year of design or hands-on manufacturing experience (internships or collegiate projects will suffice)
- Ability and willingness to acquire a Top Secret clearance
- Masters degree in an engineering field is preferred
- Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, or similar programming languages
- Experience in the integration and testing of avionics, propulsion, thermal, or structural systems
- Knowledge of documentation and configuration management
- Skilled in writing test plans and procedures with go/no-go evaluations
- Experience in a production setting
- Strong engineering intuition, critical thinking skills, and comfort with uncertainty
Responsibilities
- Design and validate electrical ground support equipment for testing Starshield satellites
- Investigate faulty electrical hardware to identify root causes and suggest design enhancements
- Create and automate vehicle checkout procedures for integrated self-tests and early-life mortality assessments
- Assess proposed flight designs for compatibility and their impact on vehicle-level checkouts
- Maintain and develop continuous integration test regression systems
- Collaborate with software engineers to refine SpaceXs automation infrastructure
- Oversee integration build processes and testing operations
