Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, mathematics, or a STEM discipline
- Over 1 year of experience in engineering, software, data analytics, venture capital, management consulting, or operations/product management within the technology sector
- More than 3 years of proficiency in Python
- Masters degree in Business or a STEM field (preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python
- Familiarity with database structures, query optimizations, and ETL development
- Experience in automation technologies (demonstrated capabilities with VBA, Python, C#, etc.)
- Background in startups, consulting, tech, or other rapidly evolving environments
- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize independently
- Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences across all levels of an organization
- Proven ability to foster strong relationships across disciplines and various management levels
- Availability for extended hours and weekend work if required
- Willingness to travel to corporate customer sites, other SpaceX locations, and industry events as necessary
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain high-quality automation to support the expansion of Starlinks customer base, facilitate the launch of new markets, and enhance customer experience
- Create alerts and monitoring systems for existing automation frameworks
- Efficiently handle all requests and manage stakeholders in a scalable manner
- Maintain responsibility for the status of automation, including reporting on health metrics such as credit issuance
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to formulate strategies for transitioning automation to integrated website solutions as needed
- Design experiments that are measurable and well-defined
- Write and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Work in concert with cross-functional Customer Success leads, workforce planners, and operators to devise automated solutions addressing customer experience and support challenges
- Present quantitative and qualitative updates on automation performance and potential opportunities to the SpaceX leadership team
