Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in an engineering, mathematics, or STEM discipline
- Over 1 year of experience in engineering, software, data analytics, venture capital, management consulting, or operations/product management at a technology company
- At least 1 year of experience with Python
- Bachelors degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, or engineering (preferred)
- Proficient in SQL and Python
- Knowledge of database structures, query optimizations, ETL development
- Demonstrated experience with automation (VBA, Python, C#, etc.)
- Experience in high-growth, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environments
- Strong project management and self-directed prioritization skills
- Capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences at various organizational levels
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across disciplines and management levels
- Availability for extended hours and weekends if necessary
- Willingness to travel to corporate customer sites, other SpaceX locations, and industry events as required
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain high-quality automation to enhance Starlinks customer acquisition, market launches, and user satisfaction
- Create alerts and monitoring systems for existing automation frameworks
- Manage stakeholder requests efficiently and at scale
- Monitor and report on the status of automation, including health metrics and credit issuance
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to strategize the migration of automation to website-integrated solutions when viable
- Design experiments that are measurable and well-defined
- Write and manage high-quality documentation
- Provide quantitative and qualitative updates on automation performance and prospects to SpaceX leadership
