Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in large enterprise or carrier-grade networks.
- For consideration at the Senior level, 3+ years in a Senior or Architect-level position is necessary.
- In-depth knowledge of WAN routing (BGP, OSPF) and Fabric technologies (VxLAN, MPLS/EPLS).
- Proficient in AWS Cloud networking (Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, Terraform, and virtual appliances).
- Familiarity with hardware such as Fortinet (FortiGate, SDWAN), Arista, and Juniper.
- Experience with VMware vSphere and Linux environments.
- Scripting skills in Python or Ansible for automation.
- Strong grasp of TCP/IP and OSI Layers 1–7.
- Bonus: Experience with Kubernetes (container networking).
- Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally for deployments.
Responsibilities
- Construct and expand our network and data center operations, incorporating switches, firewalls, and routers.
- Design and uphold secure, high-performance connections between Sovato and healthcare facilities.
- Investigate and rigorously evaluate new network solutions to meet required latency and reliability for remote surgery.
- Actively oversee network health and security using advanced monitoring tools to guarantee 24/7 reliability.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation and utilize Infrastructure as Code for efficient deployments.
- Provide expert-level support for Tier 2/3 network operations and troubleshooting.
