Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a focus on programming and software development - Current/active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph clearance - 4+ years of experience demonstrating critical thinking and initiative - Proficient in a range of programming languages including JavaScript, Java, C#, C++, HTML5, and Python - Familiarity with Agile methodologies for project management - Ability to interpret complex technical requirements and translate them into application design and implementation - Skilled in unit and integration testing, as well as software/hardware integration and documentation - Extensive experience with Microsoft Tools, Software Repositories, and Software Engineering practices - Strong verbal and written communication abilities - Detail-oriented, proactive, quick learner, and capable of collaborating effectively within a team - Valid and clear drivers license

Responsibilities

- Design and develop sophisticated software architectures utilizing object-oriented and embedded programming concepts, distributed computing, thin clients, and data distribution systems - Lead and engage in all stages of the project life cycle including requirement generation, innovative solution development, testing, integration into broader systems, and comprehensive documentation - Collaborate with team members and customers to grasp project requirements and environmental constraints - Assist in breaking down larger tasks and creating estimations for individual and collective workloads - Perform tasks primarily at our SwRI facilities/laboratories with occasional short-term travel to government client locations in the U.S. and internationally for meetings and system support - Proactively communicate task progress to team leads and project management while mentoring junior staff - Exhibit strong self-direction in task management, while also embracing teamwork
