Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, IT Operations, or a related field with applicable experience.
- Alternatively, 5 years of Cybersecurity or IT administration experience in place of a Bachelors degree, along with a high school education or equivalent qualifications and relevant certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of pertinent Cybersecurity or IT administration experience in conjunction with a Bachelors degree.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in incident response and/or network security platforms including Endpoint Protection, Threat Intelligence, and Security Orchestration Automation and Response.
- 3 to 7 years of experience administering modern operating systems such as Windows Server, Windows Desktop, and Linux.
- Strong foundation in network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and network subnetting, as well as experience with scripting, development, and utilizing application programming interfaces (APIs).
- A valid and clear drivers license is a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily reviews of security alerts and manage incident response activities.
- Accurately document system configurations, findings, and outcomes of incident response processes.
- Monitor and uphold Endpoint Protection and Response (EDR) systems along with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) frameworks, as well as Enterprise Vulnerability Management and Penetration Testing initiatives.
- Supervise and maintain Next Generation firewall systems and associated policies along with L3/L7 Load-balancing and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
- Provide support and management for the Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
- Assist in the management of the Enterprise Security Information Event Management (SIEM) platform, focusing on advanced reporting, data analysis, and correlation techniques.
- Engage in the configuration and support of security measures for Microsoft O365 Entra ID cloud services.
