Requirements
Must:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
- No prior experience required in robotics, autonomous systems, or intelligent communications
- Proficient knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (e.g., C/C++, etc.) and the Robot Operating System (ROS)
- Capability to operate vehicles safely, including the ability to drive, enter/exit vehicles quickly, climb vehicle ladders, and navigate around cables
Responsibilities
- Develop hardware and/or software solutions for intelligent/autonomous systems (including connected vehicles, automated vehicles, unmanned ground vehicles, and unmanned aerial systems)
- Assist in laboratory and field testing of intelligent/autonomous systems
- Collaborate on technical tasks with project managers and engineering teams
- Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation and presentation materials

We are the Robotic Autonomy Section, dedicated to advancing technologies for uncrewed ground and aerial vehicles, automated material handling, and connected and automated vehicles for both governmental and commercial clients. Our role involves exciting research and development focused on autonomous navigation and communication systems.
