Requirements
Must:
- Associate of Applied Science in Network Administration, Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security, or equivalent education
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT support
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Security +, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are mandatory
- Strong knowledge of various computer systems, hardware, software, and networking principles
- Familiarity with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems
- Proficient in current technology trends and advancements in the field
- Experience with Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Physical ability to lift computer equipment up to 50 pounds
- Possession of a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users through phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to various software applications and hardware systems
- Conduct training sessions for faculty, staff, and students on new technologies
- Maintain and update record-keeping systems, documenting projects and creating user instructions
- Manage records related to network users, security, and inventory of equipment
- Support, maintain, and test technological systems to ensure proper functionality
- Participate in evaluating hardware and software solutions and providing recommendations
- Engage in research initiatives and assist with implementing new technologies
- Install and configure computers, workstations, and other related devices
- Stay updated on technological advancements and related regulations
- Perform weekly facility checks as assigned by the Director of IT
- Complete miscellaneous tasks as needed
Description
