Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field would be advantageous
- Familiarity with various file types including 834, CSV, pipe-delimited, fixed-width, XLSX, etc.
- Knowledge of reading an 834 file is a plus
- Experience with file transfer protocols, particularly sFTP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Understanding of SSH and PGP keys
- Background with ticketing systems such as Zendesk
- Awareness of HIPAA compliance standards
- Familiarity with adjudication systems is a bonus
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management capabilities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to respond swiftly to issues
- Capacity to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining work-life balance, especially in a remote setting
- Eagerness to learn and enhance knowledge and skills continually
- Solid technical understanding of different file types (fixed width, delimited, 834)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement EDI files between Liviniti and external vendors, clients, and brokers
- Analyze specifications in collaboration with data-trading partners reports, interfaces, and mappings
- Conduct EDI testing, implementations, and modifications in partnership with internal teams
- Address issues or errors by analyzing file and system data
- Implement and configure file feeds for existing and newly added vendors
- Serve as the main EDI contact for assigned clients
- Build and strengthen relationships with Livinitis partners and other vendors
- Document and outline the scope of work at all integration stages, highlighting customizations and routing rules
- Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of claims adjudication system requirements
- Research and comprehend data elements in Liviniti and vendor systems
- Create mappings and translations between data elements for effective file feeds
- Test and coordinate EDI feeds with external vendors and internal developers
- Monitor and adhere to Liviniti standards regarding privacy and HIPAA obligations
- Engage in complex assignments requiring independent judgment and initiative
- Maintain familiarity with company and departmental policies and procedures
