Requirements
Must:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or a directly related field, or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in Java Application Development
- Proficient in User Interface and Web Application Development, including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with MVVC frameworks like Angular JS is a significant advantage
- Experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus
- Strong engineering background focused on delivering value through craftsmanship
- Familiarity with Test Driven Development practices
- Experience developing substantial production systems based on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Strong skills in Object-Oriented Development
- Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle and Postgres
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven experience in Agile methodology environments
- A collaborative leader who fosters teamwork across the organization
Responsibilities
- Collaboratively develop clean, efficient code and deliver eClinical SaaS products in a Lean/Agile setting
- Collaborate with product owners and QA to clarify requirements/specifications and create automated functional and unit tests using BDD and TDD
- Execute database and query optimizations
- Assist Operations and Service Delivery teams in implementing solutions and troubleshooting issues in production environments
- Dedicate efforts towards continuous improvement
