Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in a medical laboratory with a foundational understanding of clinical and anatomical pathology terminology.
- Microbiology background with hands-on experience in blood banking is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on team collaboration.
- Excellent communication abilities for effective cross-functional teamwork.
- Proficient in creating SQL queries from database tables.
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Responsibilities
- Identify and document user requirements to achieve business objectives while managing customer expectations regarding feasibility.
- Provide strategic direction for modifications to systems.
- Collaborate with development teams and product owners to plan scenarios that align with project specifications.
- Assign complexity estimations to various tasks.
- Conduct tests across all scenarios to verify that system modifications meet project specifications, ensuring functionality and stability.
- Work alongside peers to accurately document work processes.
- Collaborate on tasks while keeping management informed of progress and potential risks.
- Develop efficient, reliable, and scalable test automation scripts.
- Support ongoing development tasks in conjunction with development teams.
- Assist support teams in understanding and addressing defects as they occur.
- Collaborate with development teams to reduce potential defects.
- Partner with users to address issues during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Gain in-depth knowledge of laboratory processes to deliver high-quality solutions to the business.
- Set an example by providing leadership and mentorship to other testing members.
- Be available to tackle urgent issues in a 24/7 healthcare setting.
