Responsibilities
- Planning and Design:
- Gather and document user requirements to achieve business objectives while setting customer expectations on feasibility.
- Provide direction for system changes to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Collaborate with development teams and product owners to design appropriate scenarios fulfilling project specifications.
- Assign complexity estimates to tasks.
- Test Development:
- Verify all scenarios to ensure system changes meet project requirements, guaranteeing functionality and stability.
- Work alongside peers to maintain proper documentation of work.
- Collaborate with teammates on tasks while keeping management updated on progress and risks.
- Create efficient, reliable, and scalable test automation scripts.
- Support and Maintenance:
- Collaborate with development teams for ongoing support of tasks.
- Partner with support teams to understand and resolve defects as they occur.
- Work with users to address defects during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Gain a deep understanding of laboratory processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to the business.
- Serve as a role model, providing leadership and mentoring to other testing resources.
- Be available to tackle emergency issues in a 24/7 healthcare environment.
