Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience documenting web service API endpoints and designs
- Familiarity with Information Architecture principles applicable to a software developer audience
- Proficiency in editing documents using HTML/CSS
- Experience with UML for creating architecture and sequence diagrams
- Background in maintaining documentation on platforms such as MediaWiki, Confluence, or Drupal is preferred
- Excellent written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assess documentation gaps and update content accordingly
- Migrate documentation from old systems to the new API gateway
- Develop a comprehensive content structure for the documentation library
- Work independently to manage a backlog of tasks
Description
At Solutions Resource, we are an IT service provider located in Bellevue, WA, specializing in connecting skilled IT professionals with contract or full-time roles at organizations throughout Washington. We are currently looking for a technical writer to assist our Client API team with the migration of documentation and the creation of a new developer portal. This position is a 2-month contract based in Seattle, WA, and presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to our documentation library while working independently in a dynamic environment.
