Requirements
Must:
- U.S.-based with authorization to work in the United States
- 4–8 years of professional software development experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in C# and ASP.NET Core
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services including App Services and Functions
- Proficiency with SQL Server and stored procedures
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and contemporary development workflows
- Ability to learn and operate within an existing codebase and architecture
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a practical, execution-oriented mindset
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with Azure Functions and message-based processing
- Exposure to Power BI or Power Automate
- Background in supporting production systems in regulated environments
- Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools such as Serilog or Application Insights
Responsibilities
- Construct and sustain backend services using ASP.NET Core (.NET 8)
- Develop and refine APIs, background services, and data-processing workflows
- Implement asynchronous processing utilizing Azure Functions and Azure Storage Queues
- Collaborate with existing SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and Dapper-based data access layers
- Improve and maintain user interface components built with Bootstrap and Telerik Kendo UI
- Extend and support existing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Diagnose and address production issues with a practical, operations-centered approach
- Work with IT leadership and contractors to drive incremental improvements and feature delivery
- Contribute to documentation efforts, code quality, and continuous improvement initiatives

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys coding and collaborating closely with IT leadership while focusing on implementation and execution. We value practical execution, reliability, and teamwork in a stable work environment. The position comes with a competitive salary between $105,000 and $125,000, and benefits include 401(k) matching, health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and more.
