Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Assurance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline. - More than 15 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, information assurance, or enterprise security roles supporting intricate technical systems. - Proven experience in managing cybersecurity processes throughout the system lifecycle, including requirements, design, integration, authorization, and operations. - Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities. - Demonstrated experience collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams. - U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident for a minimum of 3 years. - Capability to obtain FAA security suitability. - Advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). - Familiarity with cybersecurity risk management frameworks, security standards, and compliance processes (preferred).

Responsibilities

- Conduct analysis, definition, and validation of cybersecurity requirements, which include security controls, privacy measures, resilience, and interface considerations. - Assist in crafting cybersecurity architecture documents, technical manuals, and security plans to direct system design and program strategies. - Execute cybersecurity risk assessments, threat analyses, and gap analyses to inform engineering and operational suggestions. - Aid in system authorization and lifecycle security processes, encompassing the evaluation of security documentation and risk mitigation strategies. - Support the integration, testing, and validation of security measures and cybersecurity functionalities. - Engage in identifying, analyzing, and resolving cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance challenges. - Work in collaboration with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, government representatives, and industry partners to ensure cybersecurity goals are achieved. - Implement cybersecurity engineering methods, frameworks, and best practices to guarantee systems satisfy security, compliance, and operational criteria. - Facilitate ongoing monitoring, assessment, and enhancement of system cybersecurity posture.
