Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of UX Research experience within a corporate agile environment
- Bachelors degree in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Design, or a Masters degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience; Masters preferred
- Proficiency in diverse qualitative research methods, such as usability studies, interviews, focus groups, surveys, card sorts, and heuristic evaluations
- Excellent communication skills, skilled in converting data into actionable insights both verbally and in writing
- Strong competency in data-driven storytelling, transforming raw data into engaging narratives and visual representations
- Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative research tools like Qualtrics and UserZoom, along with UX methodologies such as Design Thinking and Lean UX
- Dedicated to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and techniques
- Outstanding organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team-building skills
- Proven experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Responsibilities
- Lead tailored research initiatives to shape strategies for Auto, Property, and Specialty insurance experiences, significantly enhancing user satisfaction and achieving business goals
- Advocate for our end-users by integrating insights from various sources, including primary and secondary research, industry developments, and operational data
- Cultivate trustworthy relationships with colleagues across different teams and departments to encourage collaboration and innovation
- Oversee prominent research projects, working closely with key stakeholders such as UX, Product Owners, IT, and Analytics
- Direct the objective-setting and discovery phases, which include user persona creation, journey mapping, and understanding user goals
- Demonstrate your ability to influence business partners by delivering clear, actionable recommendations along with relevant business context
- Present findings with clarity and impact, adapting the message for senior and executive-level audiences
- Embrace diverse viewpoints and promote effective collaboration within cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives
