Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a related field or a combination of equivalent work and education experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in leading complex development and integration projects, business analysis, or system analysis, ideally in the finance or asset management sector.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with technology and business partners, capable of engaging in meaningful discussions and understanding implications.
- Ability to remain composed under pressure with competing tasks and strict deadlines.
- Highly proactive in problem-solving with sound judgment for escalation.
- Clear and confident communicator with senior technical and business stakeholders.
- Extensive experience with Scaled Agile software development methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Ability to empathetically understand and articulate user requirements.
- Demonstrated capacity to convey solution or product vision tailored to meet business goals.
- Familiarity with modern web architectures, APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructures such as Azure and AWS, along with content management systems like Sitecore and Adobe AEM.
- Proficient in data and reporting platforms.
- Advanced skills in utilizing diverse tools for documenting workflows and data mapping, including Teams, Miro/Lucid, Excel, SQL, and Visio.
- Understanding of analysis and artifact goals throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Quick learner who can adapt to dynamic environments and tight deadlines.
- Able to independently manage personal timelines and meet strict deadlines.
- Capable of effectively overseeing and coordinating simultaneous project deliverables across various groups and teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of intricate web platform initiatives involving various workstreams and teams.
- Convert product roadmaps into actionable project plans, milestones, dependencies, and resource forecasts.
- Achieve business goals by successfully designing, executing, and overseeing programs until completion.
- Facilitate quarterly PI Planning through cross-functional teamwork to determine specific deliverables for the upcoming quarter while identifying critical risks and dependencies.
- Document all facets of work and report progress to leadership and stakeholders.
- Proven expertise in managing complex technical projects involving dependencies held by senior executives across the organization.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and provide progress updates.
- Develop a comprehensive program plan, outlining goals, scope, schedule, and resources.
- Ensure program objectives align with company strategic goals and prioritize organizational consistency.
- Establish project tasks and milestones.
- Delegate responsibilities to team members.
- Track project progress and adjust as necessary.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and external partners to ensure alignment with program aims and deliverables.
- Identify and address risks or issues affecting program delivery, ensuring projects adhere to timelines and budgets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during project execution.
- Identify areas for enhancement in project management practices.
- Engage with program/process owners, stakeholders, and business partners to communicate project objectives, strategies, and ongoing progress, fostering alignment and trust.
- Enhance communication and processes between IT and business functions to prioritize software engineering efforts and establish best practices, involving key stakeholders such as business analysts and developers.
- Foster effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across varied groups with competing interests while preserving strong business relationships.
- Balance member, business, and technical objectives with available resources, focusing on effective resource allocation.
