Requirements
Must:
- BA/BS in Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a relevant field. Technical degree with business/product management experience will be taken into account. Preference for MBA or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in product management, software development, project management, or a related field, including handling technical projects.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into high-level technical specifications.
- Experience in establishing and leading a high-performing team of technical product managers dedicated to creating real-time, intelligent experiences.
- Capable of planning requirements, identifying risks, managing project timelines, and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Familiarity with Digital Analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Full Story, Quantum Metrics).
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Basecamp, VersionOne).
- Demonstrated experience in managing and estimating projects.
- Strong grasp of product management principles, especially in hospitality, eCommerce, and/or Information Technology.
- Successful history of managing web and mobile projects requiring collaboration with IT and integration with backend systems.
- Strong leadership abilities to encourage and mentor diverse teams.
- Strategic mindset to outline product vision, plan, and priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, focusing on relationship building and maintenance.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data for informed decision making.
- Understanding of business dynamics, market trends, and competitive analysis.
- Effective communication skills for articulating product strategy and requirements.
- Project management expertise for planning, tracking, and executing product initiatives.
- Ability to tackle complex challenges and make sound decisions to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, tracking, and coordination efforts to ensure that milestones are achieved and resources are utilized effectively.
- Define and prioritize product features based on user needs and business value, driving the development and deployment of high-caliber product features.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to collect feedback, establish requirements, and prioritize tasks. Communicate product updates and gather input throughout the development process.
- Gather, analyze, and document comprehensive product requirements, crafting clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Proactively identify and resolve project issues and risks, keeping stakeholders informed of project status and challenges.
- Exhibit a solid technical understanding of the product space, guiding technical discussions and contributing to problem-solving initiatives.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of product initiatives, using data-driven insights to enhance product functionality.
