Requirements
Must:
- 3-5+ years of experience in system administration within an enterprise setting
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting (mandatory)
- Familiarity with Ansible or other automation tools
- Practical experience in building servers and clusters from the ground up
- Experience in supporting Windows Failover Clustering and managing multiple Remote Desktop Services (RDS) farms for optimal performance and reliability
- Strong understanding of Windows Server (2016 and later) and essential infrastructure services
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V)
- Exceptional troubleshooting and documentation abilities
Responsibilities
- Construct and implement Windows servers and virtual machines from inception
- Create and sustain automation scripts utilizing PowerShell and Ansible
- Oversee and support Windows Server ecosystems
- Set up and maintain failover clusters and systems ensuring high availability
- Provide assistance and management for Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and desktop infrastructure
- Execute patching, upgrades, and continuous system upkeep
- Oversee Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
- Manage backup and recovery solutions
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and desktop-related challenges
- Record system configurations and operational procedures
