Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant area (e.g., Computer Science, IT, Finance) or comparable work experience.
- At least 5-9 years in a Scrum Master capacity, ideally in a tech-focused team.
- Demonstrated success as a Senior Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager in a software or technology environment.
- Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and experience with agile transformations.
- Experience in managing IT delivery within medium-to-large complex settings, especially in the Banking/Finance sector.
- Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, Azure, AWS) and exposure to Big Data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow) beneficial (conceptual understanding required, coding not necessary).
- Proficient in using project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee multiple cross-functional agile teams as a Scrum Master, ensuring adherence to agile methodologies.
- Conduct all Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to encourage transparency, inspection, and adaptation.
- Work collaboratively with Product Owners, stakeholders, and team members to outline project scope, objectives, and deliverables for finance technology and AI endeavors.
- Monitor project milestones and deliverables, identifying risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them, while proactively escalating issues to stakeholders as needed.
- Mentor and coach team members on agile principles and practices, nurturing a culture of self-organization, accountability, and continual improvement.
- Lead initiatives for ongoing enhancement to maximize team efficiency and delivery outcomes, using data and KPIs to refine existing capabilities and drive innovation.
- Eliminate obstacles and protect the team from external distractions to maintain focus on sprint objectives.
- Assist the Product Owner in upkeeping a well-prioritized and organized product backlog.
- Ensure the team collaborates effectively and efficiently to produce high-quality products.
- Relay project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management, providing comprehensive status updates.
- Promote a culture of collaboration and openness within the team and across stakeholders.
- Monitor team progress and performance metrics, using AI tools to support requirement gathering, user story creation, and refinement.
