Requirements
Must:

- Cloud Architecture: Comprehensive understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficient in Terraform for automating cloud resources provisioning and management
- Scripting Skills: Experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python
- DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and Git
- Network Integration: Ability to connect on-premises network with Azure Cloud using ExpressRoute and other technologies
- Monitoring Solutions: Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Grafana, App Dynamics, and Dyna Trace
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS): Experience in setting up and managing AKS platforms
- OS Administration: Proficiency in Windows and Linux OS administration and patching
- Azure Services: Familiarity with Azure AD, Azure Backup, Azure Networking, and firewall configurations
- PKI Infrastructure: Understanding of certificates, encryption keys, and authentication protocols
- Software Development Lifecycle: Experience in system development processes and methodologies
- Testing Methods: Proficiency in unit and integration testing frameworks such as JUnit and JMock
- Software Configuration Management: Experience in management tools for code deployment and versioning
- UNIX (AIX) and scripting experience
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, EJB, JavaBeans, JavaScript, servlets, JDBC, struts, Hibernate
- Familiarity with WebSphere, WSAD, MQ Series, DB2, SQL, and MS Access
- Knowledge of FTP/SFTP protocols
Responsibilities
- Oversee the setup, management, and administration of the Microsoft Azure cloud IaaS/PaaS environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security
- Design, architect, develop, and implement highly available, multi-region solutions on the Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Evaluate existing operational standards, processes, and governance to pinpoint and implement enhancements
- Transition existing on-premises infrastructure services to cloud-based solutions
- Oversee the security and access controls of cloud solutions
- Develop and enforce policy-driven data protection best practices to safeguard against data loss
- Monitor and enhance the performance, scalability, and security of cloud environments
- Revise existing application code or interfaces and create new application components from detailed specifications
- Engage in requirement analysis, design support, code development, testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenance, with thorough documentation of work
- Participate in various aspects of programming and application development, including file design, update, storage, and retrieval
- Ensure the ongoing maintenance of developed solutions
- Conceptualize, define system scope, and outline technical objectives according to user needs, necessitating exceptional communication skills and a capacity to understand business concepts
- Improve processes to resolve operational issues and introduce new functionalities, considering scheduling, resource limitations, complexity, dependencies, assumptions, and application structure
- Adhere to existing development methodologies and coding standards while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance to various teams on application systems activities
- Operate under general supervision, usually reporting to a team lead or supervisor/manager
