Requirements
Must:
- B.S./M.S. degree in Engineering
- At least 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
- Solid understanding of operating systems and distributed systems
- Proficiency in designing and architecting large-scale deployment systems comprising various components
- Experience in building, deploying, and managing infrastructures in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure) or virtualization technologies
- Expertise in systems design and administration within Linux production settings, with familiarity in Linux, GPUs, Internet Protocols, and Large-Scale Operations
- Familiarity with container runtime environments
- Experience in scaling and managing NO-SQL technologies such as Elastic Search, Kafka, HBase, AWS SQS, and Apache Spark
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD practices along with experience in tools like Jenkins, Git, and Perforce
- Strong programming and automation skills in languages such as Python, Ruby, GoLang, Java, or Shell
Responsibilities
- Collaborate at the interface of engineering and operations for SDC products, emphasizing automation
- Work with large-scale stateful and stateless distributed systems, including container runtime systems like Kubernetes and a variety of services, such as search infrastructure and real-time messaging
- Manage large inference clusters and partner with architects and engineers to implement GenAI and ML services throughout their complete life cycle
- Automate Software Life Cycle processes by developing software modules, scripts, deployment frameworks, tracers, monitors, and tools for self-healing and auto-remediation
- Keep documentation current regarding deployments, processes, and standard operating procedures/runbooks
- Investigate and integrate new emerging ML and AIOps technologies to meet client global needs, with a focus on practical implementations rather than solely on release or DevOps engineering
