Requirements
Must:
- Relevant Bachelors degree in an information technology field or equivalent professional experience
- Over 5 years of relevant work experience or a comparable mix of transferable technology application design and development experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing systems/application architecture for increasingly complex IT projects
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM Pro and ITOM
- At least 3 years of practical experience with the ServiceNow ITSM Pro and ITOM platforms
- Proficiency in ServiceNow configuration and customization
- Familiarity with ITSM and ITOM processes and best practices, including ITIL
- Experience in integrating with other ServiceNow modules such as CMDB and Asset Management
- Understanding of IT architecture and design principles
- Knowledge of scripting languages, particularly JavaScript
- Experience with data modeling and database design
- Expertise in ServiceNow ITSM Pro and ITOM platforms, including processes like Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request management, as well as Discovery, Orchestration, and Event Management
- Competence in ServiceNow configuration and customization in relation to various modules
- Skills in IT architecture and design principles, plus scripting language knowledge
- Experience with data modeling and database design
Responsibilities
- Design and execute ITSM Pro and ITOM solution architecture, including design and configuration, leveraging hands-on ServiceNow platform proficiency
- Ensure that solutions satisfy business requirements, maintain scalability and security, and are cost-effective, while delivering top-tier solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements and outline the solutions scope, employing strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Design and apply ITSM Pro processes, workflows, and integrations, such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request management
- Design and implement ITOM processes, workflows, and integrations, including Discovery, Orchestration, and Event Management
- Produce and manage technical documentation, such as solution designs and architecture diagrams, showcasing strong technical writing abilities
- Provide technical oversight and support to junior architects and the implementation team, emphasizing knowledge exchange and collaborative team efforts
- Align solutions with best practices in ITSM and ITOM as well as ServiceNow guidelines, focusing on delivering high-quality outcomes
- Act as a technical advisor and subject matter expert for ITSM Pro and ITOM solutions
- Work together with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical challenges and implement effective solutions
- Guide and mentor junior architects and implementation team members
- Lead the design and implementation of flexible, scalable, and economical solutions
