Remote React and Node Developer

- Develop, program, and code IT solutions - Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, including gathering and analyzing user/business requirements - Document detailed system specifications and assist in performance testing and maintenance for both in-house and third-party applications - Participate in design meetings, assisting clients in refining, testing, and debugging programs to meet business needs. - Implement IT controls to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of applications and processed data - Carry out additional duties as needed - Design, support, and maintain web applications for our enterprise and affiliates - Utilize skills in React, Python, JavaScript, SQL, and other programming languages - Support API development - Participate in both front-end and back-end development - Familiar with authentication and authorization methods like OAuth and JSON web tokens - Knowledgeable in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins - Monitor, report on, and improve performance of technical security solutions - Provide incident response and manage problems related to security technologies, troubleshooting software/hardware issues as required - Oversee follow-up of security requests, collaborating with IT departments to ensure timely resolutions - Support escalations, known issues, and out-of-cycle requests regarding security solutions - Assist in creating and maintaining operational documentation for security technologies - Collect, analyze, and present data related to security solutions to peers, leadership, and stakeholders - Support migration, upgrades, and disposal of complex security capabilities, assessing risks and impacts - Collaborate with other departments on work group initiatives - Aid in developing ongoing testing and validation processes for product performance and security hardening - Align with security reference architecture standards and guidelines - Participate in disaster recovery planning, design, implementation, and exercises - Contribute to remediation actions after threat assessments or audits - Provide training on security processes and operational tasks to others
