Remote Cybersecurity Project Manager

- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in IT - 5+ years of experience in Information Technology and/or Cybersecurity Project Management - Project Management Professional (PMP) and CompTIA Security+ certifications required within 180 days of hire - Relevant cybersecurity or technical certification must be obtained within 6 months if not already possessed - Familiarity with Information Security frameworks, standards, practices, and controls - Ability to manage tasks autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities - Willingness to learn from feedback and improve - Strong communication skills for conveying technical information clearly - Capability to adapt in a fast-paced environment - Advanced skills in labor, cost management, and project tracking tools, such as MS Project - Proficiency in SDLC disciplines and Agile methodologies - Comprehensive understanding of Project Management Methodology (PMM) - In-depth knowledge of business processes, functions, and architectures - High critical thinking skills for evaluating options and providing solutions aligned with business goals - Broad knowledge of IT functions - Skills to lead/facilitate core team meetings for updates on schedules, issues, risks, and dependencies - Ability to document meeting minutes and action items effectively - Proficiency in organizing and prioritizing tasks
