Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Over 5 years of experience in software testing and test development
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in various testing methodologies including black box, white box, system, functional, exploratory, and automated testing
- Quick comprehension of complex business challenges
- Familiarity with one or more Test Automation Frameworks such as Appium and Selenium
- Demonstrated ability in creating high-quality and comprehensive test plans and test cases for custom software
- Experience testing web applications, web APIs, and data-driven applications
- Proven track record in designing and implementing automated test suites
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines
- Background in an Agile delivery environment
- Knowledge of cloud platform services
- Strong skills in SQL coding and debugging
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and uphold Test Cases and Test Plans for the proprietary software
- Create, implement, and sustain Automated Test Suites for the proprietary software
- Conduct functional, exploratory, user acceptance testing, and automated testing as part of the Software Development Lifecycle and Release Process
- Aim to execute software testing to high standards, ensuring engineering excellence
- Provide assistance and mentorship to other QA engineers during User Acceptance Testing, including addressing client inquiries, tracking reported issues, and determining if they are bugs or enhancements
- Acquire knowledge and actively contribute across the entire technology stack (backend, database, frontend, UI)
- Work in a highly collaborative team environment alongside business partners and product owners
- Facilitate rapid delivery while ensuring safety and enabling agility and iterative modifications to the UI and product design
