Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (business, computer science, humanities, etc.)
- 3 to 5 years of direct experience working with agile teams
- 7 years of experience in business, technology, or consulting
- Expertise in Agile development methodologies and IT project management
- Ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences
- Strong leadership skills to influence varied stakeholders
- Capability to make swift and difficult decisions
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proven track record of leading teams toward solutions
- Experience in the insurance industry is preferred
- Familiarity with relevant products and portfolio is advantageous
- Innovative mindset to foster experimentation in uncertain situations
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create and align product vision with strategic priorities
- Contribute to the development of overarching portfolio vision
- Communicate product and portfolio vision to the squad/team and across other teams
- Work alongside the squad/team to develop and achieve product-level KPIs
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity and prioritization of user stories
- Set expectations with stakeholders regarding the delivery of new features and capabilities
- Actively participate in squad/team planning sessions and ceremonies
- Clarify business requirements and resolve roadblocks in daily agile sessions
- Align development and business goals with IT and business leadership
- Monitor product health to support long-term viability and efficiency
- Analyze and report on feasibility and potential changes to products
- Understand regulatory and compliance constraints, prioritizing appropriately
- Collaboratively build the squad/team product roadmap and influence strategy inputs
- Communicate value expectations and changes for each iteration
- Lead customer-driven design and usability testing and ensure market relevance
