Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as business, computer science, or humanities
- 3 to 5 years of direct experience working with agile teams
- 7 years of experience in business, technology, or consulting
- Strong understanding of Agile development practices and IT project management
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences
- Proven leadership skills with the capability to influence stakeholders
- Quick decision-making abilities in challenging situations
- Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrating the capacity to lead teams to solutions
- Experience in the insurance industry is preferred
- Familiarity with relevant products and portfolio is a plus
- Innovative mindset to drive progress in uncertain environments
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish a clear product vision aligned with strategic goals
- Take a collaborative approach with the team to achieve product-level KPIs
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity in user stories
- Actively participate in quarterly planning sessions to set priorities
- Set stakeholder expectations regarding the delivery of new features and functionalities
- Work daily with the agile team to clarify business requirements and support strategic alignment
- Collaborate with IT and business leadership to harmonize development goals and remove execution roadblocks
- Monitor product health to ensure it remains viable and efficient
- Analyze and report feasibility, assessing cost and timeline implications for changes
- Understand regulatory and compliance constraints to prioritize effectively
- Help build and influence the squad/team product roadmap and participate in program planning
- Communicate expected value and changes for each iteration to stakeholders
- Lead customer-driven design and usability testing initiatives for the squad/team
