Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 6 years of IT professional experience
- At least 4 years of experience in IT Security
- Over 3 years of demonstrated expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions within a complex enterprise setting
- More than 2 years of hands-on experience implementing custom identity solutions using Okta
- Familiarity with Okta API Access Management for securing APIs
- Proficient in utilizing Okta REST APIs and knowledgeable in passing correct API parameters
- Experience managing user app assignments with Okta Users and Groups APIs
- Understanding of Okta API design principles, including pagination and filtering query parameters
- Proficient in using Okta APIs for log and event queries
- Understanding of Okta-supported OIDC and OAuth flows, and when to employ them
- Knowledge of how Okta policies and their rules influence API interactions
- Understanding of enforcement methods for Okta multi-factor authentication in client applications
- Familiarity with interpreting common Okta API error codes
- Strong grasp of IAM concepts, encompassing user provisioning, authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth), directory services, and security best practices
- Analytical approach with emphasis on data-driven decision-making, problem-solving, and ongoing improvements
- Expertise in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for efficient code handling and deployment
- Familiarity with secure coding principles and security best practices
- Knowledge of Okta Identity Governance functionalities (Lifecycle Management, Access Certification, Okta Workflows, Access Governance)
- Experience integrating on-premises applications with SSO solutions and multiple IdPs using SAML/OIDC
- Experience making API requests to the Okta API or other Identity Provider APIs
- Experience developing sequence diagrams for AuthN flows and IGA processes
- Familiarity with JML processes
- Experience with directory integration (e.g., Active Directory)
- Proficiency in relational databases and cloud-based analytics using Snowflake
- Strong programming skills in Python or Java
- Experience with RESTful web services and JDBC integration
- Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, security, application development, and business stakeholders
- Partner with stakeholders to establish the target state for OIG implementation, aligning ITIM functionalities with improved OIG features
- Develop a detailed migration strategy outlining task sequences and resource needs
- Oversee the transition of JML processes and applications from the legacy IGA system to Okta Identity Governance
- Configure and deploy components like Okta Lifecycle Management and Access Certification
- Integrate various applications with Okta using JDBC, REST services, and Active Directory
- Align Okta Identity Governance configurations with defined targets, covering user lifecycle management, access workflows, and certifications
- Perform hands-on development, implementing Okta Workflows, including automation and custom connectors
- Create and manage automation scripts to enhance identity and access management tasks
- Implement access governance and workflows to ensure proper control and certification
- Conduct access reviews and certifications to ensure compliance with organizational standards
- Work collaboratively with IT, security, and application development teams for seamless identity governance integration
- Provide troubleshooting and support for identity and access management challenges
- Design and execute comprehensive testing plans to validate the functionality of the migrated OIG solution
- Collaborate with security and engineering teams for integration with current infrastructure and applications
- Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, workflows, and procedures
- Generate reports and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of identity governance solutions
- Offer ongoing support to users during and after migration, ensuring smooth transitions
- Monitor the OIG implementation for optimal performance and proactively address issues
- Complete assigned project tasks within scope and budget while meeting deliverable requirements
- Stay updated on the latest IAM trends, technologies, and best practices
- Propose and implement enhancements to strengthen our identity governance processes
