Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of practical experience in enterprise network engineering
- Extensive knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies
- Proficiency in Wi-Fi and campus networking
- Experience with routing, switching, and VLAN configurations
- Familiarity with network segmentation and security measures (ACLs, geo-segmentation)
- Hands-on expertise with Cisco networking technologies and/or Fortinet (FortiOS)
- Solid grasp of DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM)
- Experience assisting with WAN migrations and data center connectivity
- Understanding of VoIP, IP telephony, and voice network integration
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in complex settings
- Previous experience in large enterprises or regulated sectors (financial services preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with both technical and business audiences
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and enhance enterprise Wi-Fi and campus network solutions for the NYC site
- Engineer and maintain LAN infrastructure, focusing on VLAN design, switching, and office integrations
- Assist with WAN engineering and transition processes among US offices and data centers (routing, failover, QoS, bandwidth optimization)
- Implement and oversee network segmentation and WAN Access Control List strategies (geo-segmentation, list/list models)
- Provide hands-on configuration and deployment assistance during network buildouts and migrations
- Collaborate with data center construction teams to support infrastructure integration and rollout
- Participate in production cutovers, after-hours deployments, and change management windows
- Keep network documentation current and ensure compliance with enterprise standards and segmentation frameworks
- Work with global teams (US, Canada, international) to maintain consistency and adhere to compliance requirements
- Assist with incident response and operational troubleshooting across network environments
- Ensure that all activities comply with audit, risk, and regulatory standards
