Requirements
Must:
- Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA or PCSBA) with 5-10+ years of experience as a Pega Business Architect; certification and extensive experience are typically essential for leadership positions.
- Proven track record in leading multi-team Pega delivery initiatives, including developers, analysts, and integrators.
- In-depth knowledge of Pega methodologies, case lifecycle design, rules, data types, integrations, decision management, Pega Blueprint, and Pega App Studio usage.
- Demonstrated experience managing requirements throughout the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and working within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to effectively present technical solutions to business stakeholders and vice versa.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and oversee three agile teams (Pega UI development and Pega integration engineering) to deliver top-notch Pega applications and workflow automation solutions.
- Shape and direct the overall transformation strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
- Serve as the primary conduit for communication, translating business goals into actionable technical requirements while elucidating technical constraints back to stakeholders.
- Spearhead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation, ensuring comprehensive traceability across business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Conduct Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO) workshops to gather business rules, UI requirements, and process flows utilizing Pega App Studio.
- Transform intricate business requirements into optimized Pega workflows, case management structures, integration specifications, and decision-making strategies.
- Collaborate with Pega Lead System Architects and engineering leads to define solution architecture, integration design, and UI/UX strategies for the transformation program.
- Review and validate Pega rules, UI components, APIs, and integration flows to affirm that solutions meet business needs and comply with Pega best practices.
- Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, typically adhering to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Create and maintain functional documentation, test case guidance, process flows, and wireframes to facilitate delivery and promote user adoption.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, leading workshops, fostering consensus, and ensuring alignment between business and IT teams.
- Assist leadership in defining business and technical strategies, refining priorities to achieve program goals.
- Ensure adherence to requirements management and change control best practices, including versioning and artifact traceability.
- Participate in test planning and execution, verifying that Pega rules, UIs, and integrations satisfy acceptance criteria and function as intended.
