Requirements
Must:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in Java/J2EE distributed application development.
- Extensive experience with J2EE components and services.
- 5 years of practical knowledge with JAVA, J2EE, JavaScript, JDBC, and HTML.
- 3-5 years of experience with the Spring framework and a solid understanding of AOP concepts.
- Proficient in analysis and design skills, including requirements analysis and object-oriented design patterns.
- Familiarity with common JEE patterns and general knowledge of open-source frameworks.
- Experience in building and delivering critical, fault-tolerant applications.
- At least two years of experience with messaging (MQ/JMS) based integration applications.
- Strong grasp of application resiliency, security, scalability, and performance concepts.
- Keen insight into performance challenges and capabilities for end-to-end debugging.
- Proven knowledge of the JEE architecture and experience with WebSphere or Eclipse IDE.
- Solid expertise in SQL, stored procedures (PL/SQL), and database fundamentals (Oracle 11g).
- Excellent multi-tasking and collaborative abilities.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while producing high-quality results.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills demonstrated through the ability to assimilate information and analyze complex topics.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement web-based Java applications to fulfill business requirements.
- Engage in detailed technical design of applications alongside the System Architect.
- Create functions and application components in Java on the Websphere platform.
- Integrate written components with frameworks and other common functionalities.
- Recommend the development of new code or the reuse of existing code.
- Produce documentation artifacts to support the development process.
- Assist with various testing phases, including unit, functional, performance, and access controls.
