Cyber Security Engineer - InfoSec & Network Security

- Analyze and respond to endpoint alerts, collaborating with MDR providers to ensure effective detection and response - Lead incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery processes - Drive the integration of endpoint security across merged environments, standardizing tooling and response protocols - Develop and manage security controls for AWS (required) and Azure (preferred) cloud environments - Work closely with engineering teams to secure cloud workloads, IAM settings, storage, and network configurations - Establish and uphold scalable cloud security standards - Oversee cloud security integration activities in pre- and post-M&A environments - Evaluate and prioritize vulnerabilities based on exploitability and business impact - Promote remediation actions across infrastructure, application, and cloud teams - Consolidate security tools and harmonize risk models across integrated environments - Implement and enhance zero trust architectures through policy enforcement and segmentation - Troubleshoot segmentation policies in live environments while ensuring business continuity - Align network security approaches across both legacy and newly acquired environments - Investigate signals from SIEM, EDR, cloud, and network sources to identify and mitigate threats - Improve detection capabilities by minimizing noise and amplifying actionable signals - Manage the integration of security operations, focusing on Day 1 and Day 2 readiness - Collaborate with IT, cloud, engineering, and leadership teams to sync security strategies with business goals
