Collections representative

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical claims recovery and/or collections required - Experience in Medical Billing, Accounts Receivables, and/or Collections within a healthcare or insurance setting - Strong organizational skills and flexibility in managing complex unpaid claims - In-depth knowledge of billing and collections regulations - Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, and insurance billing requirements - Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively and independently - Proficient in effective communication with patients, insurance entities, clinical personnel, and management - Capability to manage a high volume of work - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment - Excellent customer service skills - Commitment to strong work ethics and job responsibilities - Professional and courteous demeanor with assertiveness in collection efforts - Quick and precise alpha/numeric data entry skills - Maintaining a positive image that reflects well on the organization - Strong written and verbal communication abilities
