Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelors degree in computer science or information systems is required
- 5-8 years of relevant experience or an equivalent mix of transferable skills demonstrating expertise in design, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting technology
- Over 6 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer supporting Azure and AWS
- Minimum 3 years of development experience with HashiCorp Terraform, including CRUD operations, module utilization, and managing remote states
- At least 3 years in Application Support
- At least 3 years of Network Support and troubleshooting experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in coding solutions and automating processes
- 3 or more years of experience with cloud network technologies, including load balancers and firewalls
- Experience with integration of cloud solutions back to on-premise data centers and cross-cloud integrations
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and exhibit empathy to drive customer satisfaction
- Proficiency in Terraform state management
- Competent in translating abstract solutions into comprehensive Terraform Enterprise code using various concepts like modules
- Familiarity with Open Source and Git concepts
- Knowledge of Google Cloud is preferred
- Strong understanding of IP networks, subnets, and routing
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and LDAP technologies
- Proficient in administering Microsoft Windows and Linux Red Hat Operating Systems
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building high levels of satisfaction for both internal and external clients
- Strong collaboration skills and positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for various audiences
- Process-oriented mindset with a keen interest in automation

- Practical experience with Power Automate and/or Logic Apps
- Experience working with software developers and security teams to support cloud-based infrastructures
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices for architecting and provisioning resources
- Familiarity with automated deployment toolsets and CI/CD processes
- Ability to develop testing use cases and monitor application performance in cloud environments
Responsibilities
- Oversee the monitoring, installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of technology solutions
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and utilize scripting/programming to ensure technology solutions operate efficiently and stably
- Lead and implement automation improvements across complex systems and applications
- Direct initiatives, evaluate work outcomes, provide training, and act as a technical resource for Systems Engineers
- Manage complex requests relating to cloud infrastructure technologies on Azure and AWS
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineers to establish cloud deployment standards and best practices throughout development cycles
- Offer guidance on standards and templates for cloud deployment to facilitate smooth onboarding across teams
- Engage with the Cloud team, engineering, and operations to propose process improvements and enhance customer relationships
- Handle complex operational issues and escalate when necessary
- Mentor and coach fellow cloud team members
- Work independently and in collaboration with various teams, exercising independent judgment and consulting peers on projects
- Ensure network infrastructure and security standards are upheld across the organization using Terraform and associated technologies
- Define system scope and objectives through research and the application of relevant business requirements
- Assess business requirements against available cloud technologies to create effective technical solutions
- Develop or adapt procedures to address complex problems considering system capacities and desired outcomes
- Influence business partners regarding hardware/software priorities and vendor selections
- Document technical strategies, objectives, and process metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- Investigate error conditions proactively and document resolutions
- Analyze client system issues to identify trends and preventive measures
- Respond to abnormal processing conditions and escalate as necessary
- Redesign processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency
- Document interactions between applications and systems that support business operations
- Evaluate the implications of system changes on users and stakeholders
- Leverage knowledge of systems and industry requirements to modify intricate information systems
- Mentor and guide less experienced business analysts
- Consider the business impact of technology applications within the current environment
- Perform additional related tasks as required
- This position typically requires five or more years of IT architecture and cloud operations experience
