Requirements
Must:
- At least 3 years of banking experience, with a minimum of 2 years in Correspondent Banking, Payment Operations, and/or Cash Management within a significant bank involved in USD Clearing
- Understanding of International wire transfers, SWIFT, and local clearing systems
- Familiarity with Funds Transfer operations and the governing rules and regulations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with effective interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written; knowledge of French or another major language is advantageous
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Competence in analytical reporting, with a solid proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Expertise in Data/Report analysis
- Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume fast-paced setting
- Capability to work autonomously in a team environment with minimal oversight
- Strong organizational capabilities
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent customer service oriented
- Creative and resourceful approach to problem-solving
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for the network and address all matters related to the USD/CAD clearing business
- Assist in managing day-to-day business relationships with BNPP Network USD and CAD Network Clearing Clients at the account level
- Collaborate with various stakeholders in the business as necessary
- Enhance processing efficiency by raising the USD straight-through processing rate above 95% at the client level
- Foster customer contentment by collaborating with clients to enhance service delivery
- Escalate service level inquiries as needed
- Supervise key control processes concerning billing, risk, and management reporting at the client level
- Conduct regular dialogue with NCNA, PCS, and other stakeholders to maintain a high standard of service to the network
- Review and assess reports relevant to client activities, such as wire transfers and non-payment SWIFT messages
- Suggest and oversee KPIs to ensure SLA/turnaround times are achieved
- Propose procedural enhancements when deemed necessary
- Examine control reports and recommend efficiency improvements
- Stay informed about changes in reporting and operations to meet or exceed client expectations
- Interpret, manipulate, and analyze data to generate insightful dashboards aligned with the mission of CSS to enhance the client experience
- Collaborate with development teams to establish and implement quality management reporting tools
- Engage with stakeholders to comprehend their data and optimize its use to fulfill client needs
- Provide insights into data trends by analyzing and interpreting patterns across various data sets
- Investigate issues to identify root causes and devise resolutions
- Aid in the preparation of Monthly/Quarterly Dashboards/Cockpits
- Directly contribute to BNPPs operational permanent control framework
