Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development
- Strong expertise in Java programming language
- Proficient in developing microservices architectures
- Skilled in creating APIs (REST / SOAP)
- Familiarity with Capital Markets trading environments
- Solid comprehension of system integration patterns
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain backend services utilizing Java
- Create and upgrade microservices that support Commodities trading workflows
- Develop and manage APIs (REST / SOAP) to connect Openlink Endur with both internal and external systems
- Assist in system integrations related to Order Management, trade capture, and downstream reporting platforms
- Work closely with Business Analysts to convert functional requirements into technical implementations
- Engage in Agile/Scrum sprint cycles
- Diagnose production issues and support system improvements
- Contribute to significant initiatives, including in-house OMS development and the rollout of Agriculture trading

This hybrid position requires you to be onsite 2-3 days a week in NYC, although candidates from Toronto may also be considered.
