Requirements
Must:
- Experience with IBM ACE/MQ, Mulesoft, or AWS Transfer Family is essential.
- Integration familiarity with Micro Services is a must.
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- Typically requires 7+ years of relevant technical or business experience, including 5 years managing complex systems using software.
- General knowledge of automated deployments.
- Proven expertise in the architecture and development of CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient in common scripting languages (such as shell, Python, Perl, YAML, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to create clear and concise technical documents, including design specifications and technology roadmaps.
- Recent experience with GITLAB pipeline architecture and coding, including the ability to combine Terraform, AWS CLI commands, and BASH scripting.
- Capability to develop Terraform modules for various infrastructure setups, installations, and configurations.
- Recent proficiency with AWS CLI tools such as S3, EC2, ASG, ELB, SFTP, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
- AWS Certification and/or experience utilizing AWS services is preferred.
- Working experience with Ansible, GitLab, Terraform, CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Grafana, or equivalent technologies is essential.
- Practical application of AI tooling, including:
- Accelerating Terraform module development and IaC implementations.
- Generating and optimizing CI/CD pipeline configurations (GitLab YAML).
- Creating and refactoring scripts (Python, Bash, Shell).
- Documenting technical architectures and API specifications.
- Troubleshooting complex integration challenges.
Responsibilities
- Define standards to inform solution decisions across various integration technologies.
- Lead initiatives to establish, articulate, uphold, and disseminate automation architecture guidelines, principles, standards, and best practices as multiple product teams transition to the cloud.
- Direct architecture and development efforts for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Define and document continuous integration and continuous deployment best practices.
- Design, construct, maintain, and enhance existing build and deployment processes for all products.
- Collaborate with integration engineers to establish automation best practices.
- Design and deploy new application components and infrastructures.
- Implement and manage a continuous integration environment.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for product and infrastructure issues.
- Create configuration scripts for automation tools and automate recurring tasks.
- Actively monitor and manage cloud-hosted applications and integrate builds.
- Resolve complex issues using scripting languages across various environments.
- Implement and uphold security measures in line with bank security policies.
- Drive improvements in infrastructure, tools, and workflows through continuous feedback loops.
- Ensure uptime and reliability of cloud-based infrastructure and systems, monitoring system performance and maintaining high availability of cloud assets.
- Participate in incident response and troubleshooting by conducting root cause analyses and applying solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Provide on-call production support.
