Requirements
Must:
- Extensive understanding of 4G/5G air interface protocols such as VoLTE, CS call processing, Attach/Detach, and handover procedures.
- Proficient in analyzing QCOM logs using tools like QXDM and QCAT.
- Knowledge of LTE/5G - 3GPP specifications and familiarity with North American carrier requirements is advantageous.
- Solid grasp of advanced LTE features, including but not limited to 4x4 MIMO, CBRS, LAA, Carrier Aggregation, and MIMO techniques.
- Familiarity with 5G protocols is beneficial.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, alongside effective problem-solving and customer service capabilities.
- Basic capacity to work autonomously and manage personal time effectively.
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline is necessary.
- Over 4 years of experience with Qualcomm/LSI chipset based mobile devices is essential.
- Proven experience in executing tests and analyzing logs for 4G/5G - 3GPP protocol test plans, along with LTE Inter-Operability testing for mobile devices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct testing and log analysis on mobile devices utilizing 4G/5G protocols.
- Analyze QCOM logs to troubleshoot and enhance connectivity features.
- Collaborate with team members to execute comprehensive tests based on 3GPP standards.
- Stay updated on industry specifications and standards related to LTE/5G technologies.
- Maintain clear documentation of test results and findings.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address technical issues and provide solutions.
- Support the development of new features and improvements by providing insights from testing phases.
