Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in Mainframe systems with a focus on Development and Support
- Familiarity with Mainframe Modernization and the integration of Mainframe and Mid-range technologies
- Proficient in COBOL LE, DB2, JCL, CICS, VSAM, as well as Online and Batch programming
- Skilled in programming with MQ using CICS/Cobol and Batch/Cobol
- Knowledgeable in databases such as DB2, Oracle, and MS-SQL Server
- Understanding of Corporate Credit Cards, DEF, SBF, and VCF is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Develop, code, and conduct unit tests to deliver solutions aligned with defined acceptance criteria and compliance standards
- Design, create, and adjust architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while maintaining architectural integrity
- Mentor fellow software engineers and educate the team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) methodologies along with the automation tool stack
- Participate in refining stories, defining requirements, and estimating work needed to complete a story through the delivery process
- Conduct spikes or proof of concepts as needed to reduce risk or to explore new concepts
- Automate manual release processes
- Design, develop, and upkeep automated test suites including integration, regression, and performance tests
