Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with various Cellular/Mobile Devices utilizing iOS operating systems
- In-depth understanding of 3GPP 5G SA/NSA and 4G LTE mobile technologies and architecture
- Strong grasp of 3GPP standards, including signaling call flows, and Layers 1/2/3
- Ability to develop and implement device test plans, validating cellular features such as 5G, VoNR, VoLTE, and VoWiFi
- Experience with a variety of cellular modem chipsets including Qualcomm (QCOM), MediaTek (MTK), and Samsung (LSI)
- Proficient with modem logging and analysis tools like QXDM, QPST, XCAL, XCAP
- Knowledgeable in SIM/eSIM design and provisioning processes
- Experience in testing Wi-Fi and Passpoint configurations (HS2.0/802.1x/WPA3)
- Capable of analyzing, documenting, and communicating issues; providing updates on testing progress and technical reports
- Basic programming abilities, particularly in Python
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for mobile devices
- Validate and document the capabilities of cellular features such as 5G, VoNR, VoLTE, and VoWiFi
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues in mobile device performance
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding testing progress and provide detailed technical reports
- Conduct modem logging and analyses using specialized tools
- Ensure compliance with 3GPP standards during testing
- Test and verify configurations related to Wi-Fi and Passpoint
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance device performance
- Stay updated on cellular technology trends and advancements
