Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree (or equivalent foreign qualification) in Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- Two years of experience in the position or in a related occupation
- Expertise in data warehouse design and dimensional modeling
- Proficiency in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with Python
- Competence in data analysis
- Familiarity with DBT (Data Build Tool)
- Ability in data visualization using Tableau and Power BI
- Knowledge of Gitlab
- Any combination of education, training, and experience that meets the qualifications is acceptable
Responsibilities
- Facilitate effective technical communication among various projects and stakeholders including underwriting, operations, compliance, and capital markets
- Ensure seamless technical execution and information flow
- Monitor portfolio production and generate reports on concentration limits such as credit scores, loan-to-value ratios, debt-to-income ratios, lien positions, documentation types, market conditions, and property types
- Order, track, and report refreshed values for the portfolio
- Monitor the portfolio for rising risks, including delinquencies, losses, and areas with declining markets
- Conduct Gap Analysis on Residential Mortgage Guidelines across different investors and product types
- Review and evaluate loan deficiencies and exception requests to determine proper actions
- Lead the organization and management of various technical projects, ensuring collaboration with product managers and diverse technical teams
