Requirements
Must:
- I require at least 5 years of professional experience in API development, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to working with Sabre APIs (REST/SOAP) or Sabre SDKs.
- Strong expertise in .NET C# is essential.
- I look for a deep understanding of RESTful API design, including pagination, error handling, and resilience patterns.
- You should have hands-on experience with Sabre workflows, such as AirShopping/Offer Management, Create/Update PNR, Ticketing/ET, Exchanges/Refunds, and Queue processing.
- Familiarity with travel domain concepts, including ATPCO fare structures, RBDs, SSRs/OSIs, EMDs, NDC basics, and IATA standards is crucial.
- Experience with API tools and specifications, such as Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI, along with strong Git practices is required.
- I seek cloud experience with platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP (e.g., Lambda/Functions, API Gateway, ECS/Kubernetes, Secrets Manager/Key Vault).
- A solid understanding of authentication and authorization (OAuth 2.0, JWT) and secure secret management is necessary.
- You should have production experience in logging, monitoring, and alerting (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK, Prometheus/Grafana).
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations with Sabre APIs (REST/JSON, SOAP/XML) covering Shopping, Booking, PNR, Ticketing, and Ancillaries.
- You will implement robust middleware/services to orchestrate Sabre workflows (Air, Hotel, Car) while managing error recovery, retries, and idempotency.
- Optimization of performance for high-volume search and booking traffic, inclusive of caching strategies and rate-limit management, will be part of your duties.
- You will create and maintain detailed API documentation and integration guides for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborating with front-end and back-end teams to ensure seamless web and mobile experiences will be essential.
- You will troubleshoot complex issues that involve GDS responses, fare rules, and pricing/availability discrepancies.
- Ensuring secure data exchange and compliance with PCI and PII standards is required, alongside the implementation of OAuth/JWT and key management as necessary.
- You will mentor junior developers, providing technical leadership on projects related to Sabre.
- Keeping up-to-date with Sabre releases, Dev Studio updates, and industry best practices will also be part of your role.
