Responsibilities
In the position of Systems Security Engineer, you will play a vital role in our Security Operations Center (SOC). Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the technical expert for the Security Team, guiding and supporting junior team members while addressing escalated security incidents to ensure swift and effective resolution.
- Implementing and remediating vulnerability fixes for firewalls, servers, and cloud infrastructure, alongside conducting regular audits of toolset deployments for our internal systems and client networks.
- Automating tasks using PowerShell or Command Line scripts to improve operational efficiency.
- Carrying out Security Risk Assessments and Penetration Testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Performing annual Disaster Recovery testing for both internal systems and client networks, as well as maintaining, monitoring, and restoring backups for our systems.
- Mentoring and training junior staff to foster skill development and collaboration within the team.
