Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 4 years of direct experience in Network & Systems Engineering, excluding general IT or help desk roles
- Proven expertise with firewalls, switches, wireless networks, VLANs, and VPNs
- Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or multi-client settings
- Ability to manage intricate technical challenges from identification to resolution
- Strong emphasis on documentation, process adherence, and executing tasks accurately from the outset
- Capability to work autonomously without oversight
Responsibilities
- Provide support and resolve issues related to network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
- Troubleshoot and address problems involving routing, VLANs, VPNs, and network security
- Handle escalated issues regarding network, server, and systems performance
- Offer support for Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and workstation setups
- Act as a technical advisor and mentor for Level 1 technicians
- Develop and maintain network schematics, standard operating procedures, and client documentation using IT Glue
- Methodically document tasks in ConnectWise Manage
- Participate in scheduled after-hours on-call rotations
- Undertake onsite visits within the Phoenix metro area as necessary, with prior planning
