Requirements
Must:
- A college diploma or university degree in computer science, information sciences, or a related field, or equivalent work experience of 8+ years.
- Multiple vendor certifications and accreditations in primary technologies.
- Knowledge of Managed Services, Security Solutions, Cloud Solutions, Backup/Disaster Recovery, Virtualization, and Storage.
- A proven history of developing and providing implementation paths for client projects while adhering to internal standards.
- A strong grasp of the organization’s objectives and goals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities, with a focus on intentional listening and purposeful questioning.
- Demonstrated experience in formulating long-term IT strategies.
- Strong documentation capabilities.
- Ability to quickly absorb and retain information.
- Capability to present ideas in user-friendly terms to non-technical personnel and end users.
- Ability to identify client workflows and implement IT solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under pressure.
- An exceptional customer service orientation.
- Dexterity in using a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other components.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategies that align with clients' business goals to promote growth and efficiency.
- Lead initiatives to modernize and streamline IT infrastructure, utilizing emerging technologies to enhance client operations.
- Enforce robust security measures and oversee compliance with industry regulations to safeguard client data and systems.
- Manage technology budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Provide high-level IT advisory services to C-suite executives, translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights for business improvements.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of IT strategies and relay business outcomes.
- Remain up-to-date on technological advancements and integrate new solutions to ensure clients remain competitive and innovative.
- Coordinate with third-party technology providers to ensure exceptional service and optimal technology solutions.
- Assess and suggest technology solutions that meet business needs and objectives, thereby enhancing overall productivity and performance.
- Analyze ticket trends in support cases and offer clients strategic recommendations based on these insights.
- Maintain accurate documentation for assigned clients according to company policies.
- Keep a detailed account of time spent on client projects and tickets using the ticketing system.
- Predominantly work from the office while traveling onsite in the metro area as needed, with pre-planned travel for areas outside the metro.
