Requirements
Must:
- 2–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or service desk roles
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
- Basic understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and documenting technical procedures
- Strong communication and customer service capabilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical assistance to business clients in a B2B setting
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, email, printers, and networks
- Manage support tickets utilizing our ticketing and RMM tools (ConnectWise Automate)
- Conduct technical assessments through client interaction to gauge issue severity and impact
- Prepare, image, and deploy desktops and laptops
- Assist with security applications such as antivirus, email filtering, web filtering, encryption, and mobile device management
- Identify recurring problems and contribute to developing long-term resolutions
- Keep comprehensive documentation of tasks completed and solutions provided
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and client records in IT Glue
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure client satisfaction
- Pursue ongoing technical skill development through regular training and certifications
- Occasionally travel to client sites as necessary (valid drivers license required)
- Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call duty schedule
