Requirements
Must:
- 2–3 years of experience in IT support or system administration
- Active DoD SECRET clearance (must be current)
- CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 IAT Level I compliant)
- Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7/8)
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019
- Experience with Windows 10/11 SDC environments
- Proficiency in tools such as VMware vSphere, GitLab, and Confluence
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Previous experience in secure or government contracting environments is preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily system health assessments and troubleshoot technical problems
- Provide support for Windows SDC, Windows Server, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems
- Implement operating system and application patches within specified timelines
- Oversee user account management, permissions, and access requests within 24 hours
- Execute and confirm data backups; regularly test recovery protocols
- Record troubleshooting actions, system updates, and operational reports
- Offer after-hours support as necessary (approximately six times annually)
