Requirements
Must:
- Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
- Technical proficiency in data modeling, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques
- Strong background in using reporting tools (e.g., Business Objects), databases (e.g., SQL), and programming languages (e.g., XML, JavaScript, ETL frameworks)
- Familiarity with statistical methods and experience with statistical software for data analysis (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS)
- Excellent analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling large amounts of information
- Skilled in query development, report writing, and effectively presenting findings
Responsibilities
- Interpret data and analyze results using statistical methods while providing regular reports
- Design and establish databases, data collection systems, and analytical strategies to enhance statistical quality and effectiveness
- Source data from primary and secondary databases while managing data systems
- Identify, examine, and interpret trends or patterns within intricate data sets
- Clean and filter data by reviewing digital reports, printouts, and performance metrics to identify and rectify coding issues
- Collaborate with management to prioritize organizational and informational requirements
- Discover and outline new opportunities for process improvements
